      <image:caption>In 2018 I developed hip pain which evolved into a femoral stress fissure from improper form while running and operating. Three rounds of traditional physical therapy alleviated my acute pain, but couldn't solve the underlying issue that lead to recurrent injury. Six months after finishing a round of PT, I'd be in pain again. As a new steadicam operator, these issues could have ended my career before it began. Liz's analysis of the body's strengths and weaknesses is totally unlike the traditional PT approach. Rather than focusing only on the site of pain, she looks at the whole body as a system, finessing the disconnections at the start of the chain that manifest as injury at the end. Rather than putting a band-aid on your symptoms, Liz finds and treats the cause of your issues. After working with her, I'm not only free of pain, I've future-proofed myself against re-injury.       <image:caption>In 2018 I developed hip pain which evolved into a femoral stress fissure from improper form while running and operating. Three rounds of traditional physical therapy alleviated my acute pain, but couldn't solve the underlying issue that lead to recurrent injury. Six months after finishing a round of PT, I'd be in pain again. As a new steadicam operator, these issues could have ended my career before it began. Liz's analysis of the body's strengths and weaknesses is totally unlike the traditional PT approach. Rather than focusing only on the site of pain, she looks at the whole body as a system, finessing the disconnections at the start of the chain that manifest as injury at the end. Rather than putting a band-aid on your symptoms, Liz finds and treats the cause of your issues. After working with her, I'm not only free of pain, I've future-proofed myself against re-injury.
